Pooja Chopra: From The Tiara to Femina Miss India World 2009

Some photographs bring back more than a moment. This one reminds us of Pooja Chopra’s journey from training at The Tiara in Pune to winning Femina Miss India World 2009.

Pooja trained with Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri as she prepared for the competition. Her win was a proud moment for everyone at The Tiara, and her journey continued on the Miss World stage later that year.

At Miss World 2009, Pooja became the first Indian to win the Beauty with a Purpose title. It recognised her work supporting girls’ education through the Nanhi Kali project. That achievement remains a special part of her pageant legacy.

Pooja has since made her mark as an actor, taking her talent and presence to a new stage. It has been wonderful to watch her keep growing and pursuing new opportunities.

We at The Tiara are proud to have been part of Pooja’s preparation. This photograph is a fond memory of where that remarkable chapter began.
